5 Storey high building with pierced pvc downpipe
Recently we attended a building site where a construction worker went through a pvc downpipe with a rio bar. This was an issue that needed rectifying straight away as it was causing water to leak. The building was 5 storeys high and the downpipe was encased within the brickwork so to get to it without relining was near impossible.
We attended the site and performed our assessment and it was a straight forward job for us, many other relining companies can not perform these type of repairs as their technology and equipment limit them.
We performed a 2 meter pipe reline and sealed off the area that contained the piercings. This was done in 2 hours with minimal interruptions to the site and workers and no issues. We returned the next day to take the bladder out and the resin adhered perfectly to the host pipe and the leak was fixed.
